Neck and Back Pain

Neck and Back Pain

Neck Pain

The back is a complicated structure of bones, joints, ligaments and muscle. You can sprain ligaments, strain muscles, rupture disks, and irratate joints, all of which can lead to back pain. Unfortunately, approximately 80-90% of the population suffers from spinal pain at some point. People who are overweight or obese, and who smoke, lift heavy objects, or had a previous episode of back pain, are more likely to experience back pain. Dr. Apps can perform a spinal manipulation or adjustment, which is a safe and effective spine pain treatment.

A neck adjustment works to improve the mobility of the spine and to restore range of motion; it can also increase movement of the adjoining muscles. Patients typically notice an improved ability to turn and tilt the head, and a reduction of pain, soreness, and stiffness.
